Accurate Door
Systems, Inc. began in 1982 as a garage door and garage door opener service company.
Founded by John P. Ebel, the company started as a division of The Television Maintenance
and Appliance Company and The Canton Automatic Door Company - both which were owned by
John's father, George F Ebel.
It soon became apparent that for continued growth the company would need to operate
independently and in the fall of 1982, John established Accurate Door Systems as a sole
proprietorship located at 3742 Cleveland Ave. in Canton, Ohio. As a separate company,
Accurate Door flourished and in 1986 was incorporated into Accurate Door Systems, Inc.
with offices in both Canton and Akron, Ohio.In 1990, having outgrown the Cleveland Ave. location, Accurate Door built the present location  at 6331 Whipple Ave. in North Canton. This new
headquarters provides a spacious showroom, abundant warehouse for parts, product and
service as well as the main offices for the company.Today Accurate Door still services garage doors and garage door openers just like in 1982. But as you will see throughout our web site, we offer a lot more - for both the homeowner and commercial customer.  Windows, entry doors, vinyl
decks, loading dock equipment and commercial rolling doors are just a few of the
vast array of products that we sell, install and service for nearly the entire
Northeastern Ohio.We have been fortunate to have aligned ourselves with the very best products and manufacturers in the business, companies like Clopay, Amarr, Liftmaster, Genie, Cornell and Precision Entry to name a few. Accurate Door is also an active member of NARI - National Association of the Remodeling Industry, BIA - Building Industry Association of Stark County, IDA - International Door Association as well as The Canton Chamber of Commerce.
